Annual Events

Each year, at the beginning of Fall quarter, USS hosts a Fall Welcome event. This event is an opportunity for all incoming undocumented students to learn about the programs and services available to them at UCSC. This event is restricted to only undocumented student attendees and is open to continuing undocumented students!

Each year, USS offers financial assistance to undocumented students filling out the California Dream Act application! In partnership with the financial aid office, these workshops are an opportunity for undocumented students to ask any questions or concerns they have about the application.

At the end of each year, USS celebrates the accomplishments of the undocumented student community at UCSC by hosting an End of the Year celebration! This is a space to recognize the hard work and dedication that undocumented students put into achieving their degree as well as a space to connect with faculty, staff, and students. USS also provides a complimentary stole to graduating undocumented students that they are encouraged to wear during this celebration!
