Textbook Access Program (TAP)

*The annual Textbook Access Program (TAP) application will be opening on Monday, September 2nd, 2024 and will close on Friday, September 13th, 2024. Eligible applicants will be awarded before the commencement of the quarter*

The Textbook Access Program (TAP) program is designed to assist students in obtaining required class materials and textbooks required for their academic success that they would not be able to purchase on their own. 

Students who have been approved and granted TAP Services have the flexibility to use their voucher for various items, including textbooks, iClickers, notebooks, school supplies, and more. However, it's important to note that the items must be available on the Baytree Bookstore's website in order to utilize the voucher successfully.

We aim to assist students in severe financial hardship to access class materials. You DO NOT need to have exhausted both subsidized and unsubsidized loans to receive financial assistance from the Textbook Access Program. However, we do prioritize students who have exhausted all forms of financial aid given to them.

Students are required to apply for the annual application to be considered for reoccuring awards of $150 every quarter, for the academic school year. Please note, previous awardees must reapply every year through the annual application. Students who do not mee the annual application will be added to the appeal form to be considered after all awards have been distributed. 

Awardees of the TAP voucher must meet with an EOP academic counselor and attend one EOP event once per quarter, in order to maintain award status. Failure to meet these requirements will result in the revocation of the award.
