Make a Gift to EOP

The Educational Opportunity Programs (EOP) supports first-generation college students from low-income and educationally disadvantaged backgrounds and ensures they successfully complete their undergraduate education. EOP at UCSC serves more than 6000 students who have overcome tremendous odds to be the first in their families to attend college.

EOP students have a high rate of community service and are strongly motivated to give back to others in need.  Many of these inspiring students also achieve academic excellence, distinguish themselves as leaders and provide powerful role models of success to youth in low-income communities.  We strongly  promote graduate and professional school interest and preparation.  Our graduates often work to give help and hope to communities as teachers, social workers, healthcare professionals.
