Entrepreneur Pilot Program

Entrepreneur Pilot Program: In collaboration with Oakes College, STARS, the Career Center, Immigrants Rising, and USS, EOP is partnering with El Pajaro Community Development Corporation (PCDC) to launch an entrepreneurship pilot program focused on developing and supporting undocumented entrepreneurs. This program is designed to educate and empower currently enrolled undocumented students and recent grads or alumni in developing and launching their business ventures. Selected fellows engage in a 10-week, 5-unit Independent Study course offered in Spring 2020 through Oakes College. Upon completion of the entire course, students are eligible for the Summer Incubation Phase and Room & Board Stipend of $1,500. During Spring and Summer quarters, program participants develop and present their business plans. At the same time, they receive business development consulting/technical assistance from PCDC in person for one-month, and remotely after that through December 31, 2020.

The first round of applications has been reviewed and selected, but there are still a few spots open. For students interested in applying please visit the Rolling Application link at: https://tinyurl.com/wle95m7
