My hometown is La Mirada, CA. I started working for the wellness program in Fall 2019. I decided I wanted to work for EOP because of the sense of community and I wanted to help be a resource to other students on campus. I chose the Wellness Program specifically because I find recreation and exercise to be really important to my own physical and mental health and I wanted to share this with others. In my free time I like to play volleyball and go to music festivals.

Ecology and Evolution / Junior / She, Her, Hers

Hello! My name is Medelin Osejo. I was born in Granada, Nicaragua and came to the United States when I was young. I would consider myself a big nerd. I love playing video games, anime, cosplaying, and music! I decided to work at the EOP/Wellness Program because I want to share my story about coming from a low socio-economic background and being a first generation college student. I want to be able to help EOP Students be successful in college/life and let them know anything is possible despite their background. My favorite thing about being part of EOP has been the support they have given me and the resources they have provided for me. I want to continue delivering the message of EOP to everyone!

Proposed Psychology, LALS minor / Sophomore / He, Him, His

Hello, my name is Robert and I am originally from Inglewood, the city of champions! I chose to work for EOP because I was an EOP Bridge Mentee my freshman year which provided me with a great deal of help. Now being in my second year, I wanted to find a way to become a part of this community and help other students who come from similar backgrounds such as myself.
